Um representante informou que Lang faleceu de complica\u00e7\u00f5es ocasionadas por um tipo raro de linfoma. Ele deixa a esposa e cinco filhos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lang esteve envolvido na realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do <strong>Miami Pop Festival<\/strong>, em 1968, que atraiu cerca de 25 mil pessoas em seu primeiro dia com performances de <strong>Jimi Hendrix<\/strong>, <strong>Frank Zappa<\/strong>, <strong>John Lee Hooker<\/strong>, <strong>Arthur Brown<\/strong> e <strong>Blue Cheer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Depois que se mudou para Woodstock, Nova York, ele conheceu o produtor <strong>Artie Kornfeld<\/strong>. Os dois desenvolveram o conceito de um grande festival para celebrar os movimentos sociais dos anos 1960 e planejaram abrir um est\u00fadio de grava\u00e7\u00e3o em Woodstock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Com Kornfeld e os s\u00f3cios <strong>John P. Roberts<\/strong> e <strong>Joel Rosenman<\/strong>, Lang organizou o festival <strong>Woodstock Music &#038; Art Fair<\/strong>, o qual foi realizado de 15 a 18 de agosto de 1969, em Bethel, Nova York.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O evento reuniu cerca de 400 mil pessoas com shows de <strong>Santana<\/strong>, <strong>Creedence Clearwater Revival<\/strong>, <strong>The Who<\/strong>, <strong>Jimi Hendrix<\/strong>, <strong>Janis Joplin<\/strong>, <strong>Crosby, Stills, Nash &#038; Young<\/strong>, entre outros.
